GiveToLocal partners with Bedfordshire FA

Bedfordshire FA become GiveToLocal’s Latest Official County FA Partner

This latest County FA partnership, the 14th across football in England so far, and growing all the time, will see GiveToLocal & Bedfordshire FA working together to deliver a more sustainable future for grassroots football clubs across their area.

Marc Di Carlo, Football Development Officer for Bedfordshire FA, is confident that GiveToLocal can help clubs recover from the coronavirus crisis — the toughest challenge the footballing community has faced in recent times.

“We are all delighted to be back playing football after the impact of coronavirus and it is truly great to see.

“It is now vitally important we secure a healthy future for the grassroots game to ensure everyone in all of our communities have positive, long-term opportunities to play football.

“We are delighted to be working with GiveToLocal as they offer a unique fundraising model that offers our clubs a great opportunity to develop sustainable income by becoming even more connected with their local communities.”

Marc’s delight is echoed by Colin Stromsoy, Director of Strategic Partnerships at GiveToLocal.

“GiveToLocal is all about making a difference and supporting local communities and I’m absolutely delighted that we are going to be working with the Bedfordshire FA to support their clubs.

“Marc and his team have been very supportive of our work with clubs for a long time and together with everyone at GiveToLocal we have been so inspired by the passion they have to improve football across their county.

“We’re determined to play our part in securing a great future for clubs across Bedfordshire, supporting officials, coaches, players, parents and volunteers to help make their clubs more sustainable and more connected in their communities.

“We’re really looking forward to working with Marc and his team - getting clubs registered, raising funds and making a difference – that’s what it is all about and we can’t wait to get started!”
