GiveToLocal Partners With British Dodgeball

GiveToLocal is proud to be backing one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports in 2021 after agreeing a new national partnership with British Dodgeball.

The latest move to support community sport across the country sees us work alongside dodgeball’s national governing body (NGB) in the UK.

We’ll be supporting British Dodgeball’s member clubs and helping them to raise additional funds.

British Dodgeball is recognised as the NGB for dodgeball in Great Britain and Northern Ireland by the World Dodgeball Federation and the European Dodgeball Federation.

It offers support and services to national teams, clubs, players, coaches and officials.

And GiveToLocal aims to supplement that support and help dodgeball clubs look forward to a bright future in 2021 and beyond.

Ben Hoyle, MD of British Dodgeball, said: “British Dodgeball is delighted to be partnering with GiveToLocal and we’re looking forward to achieving great things together in 2021.

“This last year has been an extremely challenging one for community sport and it’s been no different for dodgeball.

“GiveToLocal’s user-friendly, fully supported fundraising platform provides our clubs with the perfect opportunity to secure additional funding at a time when they need it most.

“Working together I think we can make a significant and positive difference.”

GiveToLocal’s service will be available to all clubs affiliated to British Dodgeball.

By pledging as little as £3 per month donors can directly support their community clubs safe in knowledge that every penny goes to the club.

“In return they can also receive benefits linked to local businesses.

“I’ve been talking to the guys at British Dodgeball for a number of weeks now and it’s clear that we have a shared passion for community sport,” said Colin Stromsoy, Director Of Strategic Partnerships at GiveToLocal.

“There is so much enthusiasm for enabling positive change and helping clubs come through such a challenging period.

“Dodgeball is a sport on the rise and at GiveToLocal we want to be a part of that exciting journey during the next few years.

“But dodgeball is no different to any other sport in 2021 in terms of needing support to maintain its position at the heart of local communities.

“That’s where GiveToLocal can help. Our partnership with British Dodgeball can make a positive difference and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
