The agreement will see Kitlocker become GiveToLocal’s official teamwear partner and helps us to provide a sustainable future for community clubs across the UK.
Having started up in 2005, Kitlocker is a business that shares the same ethos as GiveToLocal, with the sportswear provider keen to have positive impact on grassroots clubs.
As part of the GiveToLocal community, Kitlocker has already committed to support our new #InspiredToGive campaign, with the organisation providing a number of kit vouchers to help fuel campaign engagement whilst also getting the message of support out to more clubs and businesses.
And Mike Kent, Managing Director at Kitlocker, is thrilled that his company has been able to partner with GiveToLocal at a challenging time for sport nationwide.
“At Kitlocker, we have always focused on supporting grassroots sport - it’s been at the heart of everything we’ve done,” said Mike.
“For us, it’s incredible to see the positive impact that local sports clubs can have on their communities so we’re always keen to be able to link up with organisations who share our passion.
“There are challenging times facing all of grassroot sport at the moment.
“Moving forward, Kitlocker will be working closely with GiveToLocal to help achieve their goal of securing increased and sustained funding for clubs all over the country.
“For us the partnership was a no brainer!”
And Mike’s words were echoed by GiveToLocal Chief Executive Neil Gardiner, who reiterated Kitlocker’s excitement regarding the partnership.
“We’re delighted to bring Kitlocker on board and it’s great to see them join our growing community,” said Neil.
“Much like Kitlocker, we’re always keen to be proactively involved with organisations and businesses who share our vision of doing something that can have a positive impact on local communities.
“Now, more than ever, local communities are going to need support wherever they can get it and this is particularly pertinent to the world of grassroots sports.
“With Kitlocker onboard, supporting our vision to provide funding to these communities, we will be able to help support more people as a result.
“That can only be a positive.”
