GiveToLocal’s Focus Clubs Hit The Start Line

GiveToLocal’s new Focus Clubs Initiative has been described as an ‘amazing opportunity to take funding to the next level’.

We sought out pro-active, motivated clubs from across our 15 supported sports and identified a chosen few who are ready to go the extra mile to test how far and how fast we can take our drive to help them secure sustainable funding through our innovative service.

Hundreds of applications later and we honed in on the best of the best before outlining our plans within a targeted webinar.

And we’re delighted to say that a thorough selection process has led to outstanding clubs from each of our 15 sports clinching the opportunity to take on the Focus Clubs mantle.

“It’s been a busy period as we have gone through this selection process but we’ve been blown away by the quality of the applications, the high standard of would-be Focus Clubs and the positivity surrounding the initiative,” admitted GiveToLocal CEO Neil Gardiner.

“Everyone is excited to move towards the next stage and demonstrate what our dedicated team and highly motivated clubs can achieve together.”

Clubs that attended our initial Focus Clubs webinar ‘can’t wait to get started’ and are ‘buzzing’ about the opportunity to revolutionise their funding efforts. And who can blame them? We are too!

‘Love It! Love It! Love It!’ one webinar attendee said and another can’t wait to get going!– that’s the enthusiasm we love to see!

These proactive clubs will work with a dedicated GiveToLocal team through a simple 4-step, 4-week process that aims to help each of them to secure tens of thousands of pounds in sustainable annual funding.

As well as the funding potential presented by this initiative, there’s also an exciting opportunity within each sport for the best performing club to be featured through GiveToLocal’s national campaign videos and materials – giving that club the chance to proudly represent their sport in the promotional work carried out by GiveToLocal across the UK.

Finally, the Focus Clubs will receive a brand-new version of our app. Users will be supported to trial its added features and feed back on its effectiveness prior to a nationwide rollout.

“We want our Focus Clubs to be the heart and soul of GiveToLocal,” added Neil. “We are working with them - as well as for them - to ensure we deliver the best service possible. The desire for constant progression and constant improvement is always going to be a feature here at GiveToLocal as we deliver a real and lasting impact for the clubs we are here to support.”

Keep your eyes peeled for further updates with regards to our Focus Club Initiative.
