Wood Bowled Over By Fintegrate’s Florida Pledge

England World Cup winner Mark Wood has urged families across the UK to get involved with GiveToLocal’s biggest giveaway yet.

Fintegrate Financial Solutions has offered to fly a family of four to Disneyworld Florida in 2021 after pledging its support to our #InspiredToGive campaign

And in a surprise move, popular Durham paceman Mark popped up on our socials to encourage families everywhere to get involved in the sensational promotion.

“I’d urge families everywhere to get behind GiveToLocal’s #InspiredToGive campaign and enter this fantastic giveaway,” he said. “Good luck to everyone!”

Mark is the second England fast bowler to back to GiveToLocal after fellow Geordie Steve Harmison revealed his support last month.

The 30-year-old made his Test debut against New Zealand five years ago and represents England in all forms of international cricket.

Mark starred alongside Durham team-mate Ben Stokes during the 2019 World Cup - which England went on to win following an historic super over.

And after recovering from a side injury - sustained in the World Cup final - the paceman returned to the Test team in South Africa earlier this year.

“It’s fantastic to get Mark on board and he’s as excited about the Disneyworld Florida giveaway as we are,” said GiveToLocal Chief Executive Officer Neil Gardiner.

“I had a conversation with our friends at Fintegrate last month and they explained that they were keen to support the #InspiredToGive campaign.

“When they came back to us and said they’d be prepared to fly a family of four to Florida for a week’s stay at Disneyworld we couldn’t believe it.

“At that point we knew we needed someone special to help us kick off the giveaway and Mark fitted the bill perfectly.

“We’re very proud of our North East roots and to have one of the region’s best loved sportsmen working with us on this is just perfect.”

Fintegrate became aware of GiveToLocal following our launch last December.

The firm was founded 15 months ago and with a team spread across Newcastle, Preston, Warsaw and Zurich have spent considerable time and effort developing a revolutionary new software product for the financial services market, designed to increase efficiency within the financial planning sector through the use of a bespoke technology platform.

And its aim is to deliver cost-savings for financial advice firms by streamlining processes, improving compliance and simplifying the method of demonstrating that compliance.

Fintegrate continues to make its mark as firms seek to adopt new technology and gain an advantage within the fast-changing financial sector.

But Lee Parkinson, Chief Executive Officer at Fintegrate Financial Solutions, is keen to make an impact on the wider community - including offering support to grassroots sport.

“Fintegrate was founded with the intention of having a large and lasting impact on the financial services sector,” he said.

“It is only fitting that we align ourselves with other ambitious organisations seeking to bring about positive change.

“GiveToLocal’s mission really resonates with us and we were delighted to be able to get behind their #InspiredToGive campaign as, in truth, it has inspired us.

“Family, community and working together towards a brighter future is really important right now.

“We are proud to be able to contribute something which the GiveToLocal community can get behind and which will give one lucky family a dream trip to look forward to as we come out of the other side of this health crisis.”

Fintegrate Financial Solutions works closely with UK-based technology company EValue and fund data and technology leader FE fundinfo.

And both organisations have offered their own support to GiveToLocal’s Disneyworld Florida giveaway.

“I think it’s clear to see that we’re not the only organisation looking to pivot to positive effect during the coronavirus crisis,” added Gardiner.

“Fintegrate is emerging as a key player on the financial services stage, backed by FE fundinfo and EValue, and their support can only underpin the work that GiveToLocal continues to do at a national level.

“We are constantly urging grassroots sports clubs and their local communities to come together during the coronavirus crisis. It’s important that like-minded organisations and businesses - however big or small - do the same.”
