We're aiming to put £10 million a year into community sport

Working in Partnership

Grassroots football clubs are an important part of our communities. They continue to exist because passionate, committed individuals across the country make a considerable effort to give up their time, week-in and week-out.

GiveToLocal’s sole purpose is to support these individuals, ensuring our grassroots clubs have a secure and successful future. We are taking on a positive role, helping clubs connect with local people and businesses, for the betterment of our communities.

Why Partner with GiveToLocal?

GiveToLocal has developed an innovative ‘incentivised giving’ approach that helps grassroots clubs become more financially sustainable, supports local businesses and helps ensure there is a great grassroots experience for players, coaches, volunteers and everyone associated with the club

For grassroots football to continually grow and improve, requires us to work in partnership with many different organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

We work with County FA’s, National Governing Bodies (NGB’s), leagues, professional football clubs and a range of well-known commercial brands, all of which support our aims and objectives for grassroots sport and share our values.

Supporting the FA

GiveToLocal is proud to support the FA’s Grassroots Football strategy. We share the FA’s vision of an inclusive game, being played more often and by more people across the country. We are determined that in our role we can help the FA ensure that not only are clubs more sustainable but they can look to the future with confidence.

FA Charter & Community Standard Status

To support the FA in driving up standards of governance in grassroots football, GiveToLocal is only available to those clubs that hold FA Charter Standard or FA Community Standard status. We validate all Club applications with the FA to ensure only accredited clubs can access our service. We proactively encourage clubs who have not achieved FA Charter or Community Standard status to work with their County FA to achieve it, supporting them in doing so where possible.

County FA’s

GiveToLocal already has more than 22,000 teams registered throughout England, with teams in every County FA area. While we support clubs and teams directly, to maximise the impact of GiveToLocal, we are also actively supporting County FA’s.
